WIP: Fantine

I love Les Miserables. The movie rendition was amazing and if I don't draw fanart I'm going to feel like an awful person. So here's a WIP of Fantine, I thought I'd make her a mix of brunette and blonde like a mix of the musical movie and book.

A Thousand Splendid Suns Illustration

This is an illustration I made for the book A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini, it's one of the most beautiful and heart-wrenching books I have ever read. Definitely one of my favorites :) So I made a collage with sketches of the four main characters (clockwise: Mariam, Rasheed, Laila, and Tariq) and four important scenes... well, except for the top right scene, I just had no idea what to draw there. I know the clothes are  most likely not exactly culturally accurate, but I'm just going based off my imagination and the few descriptions we get from the book. These are how I pictured them.
This is actually for an English project in school, just figured I'd share.
